Travel Inspired Book – When she’s not traveling, she’s probably counting down the days until her next trip. Give her a book that will allow her to escape and inspire her, even while she’s stuck at home. I personally like Eat, Pray, Love.

Adult Coloring Book – For the last 2 years, these have become so popular and they have many different themes. A travel themed coloring book will keep her busy for hours and also help to pass the time on a long flight.

Luggage Tags – These are cute way to jazz up her boring old luggage and make sure it gets sent home if it gets lost. There are lots of fun designs like marble, donuts, or even sparkly Kate Spades!

Travel Journal – I love travel journals! They look so much prettier than a boring old notebook and she can use it for many different things like a bucket list, documenting her travels, or to practice writing in the new language she’s learning. Check out these cute ones from Amazon.

Bottle Opener – Something she can use at home or take with her on trips is a cute travel themed bottle opener. Check these out on Etsy!

Map Watch – As she’s sitting at her desk in her 9-5 job, she can glance down at her wrist and escape for a moment. There are tons of watches with maps on them and they are gorgeous! She’ll love it.

Travel Shirt – Girls love clothes, and girls who love to travel love travel clothes. Get her a shirt with a cute travel quote on it. “Not all who wander are lost”.

Travel Themed Coasters – A cute travel gift for her is marble coasters with vintage maps on them. They are classy and will add a nice touch to her bar or living room. Or check out these other travel themed coasters on Etsy.

Scratch Off Map – This is a must for all travel girls. We love to look at where we’ve been and where we need to go next. A scratch off map allows her to do just that! When she scratches off a country, the color beneath it will be revealed and eventually she’ll have a beautiful rainbow map to frame in her home.

Personalized GlobeThese are adorable! On Etsy, there are tons of shops that will make a personalized mini globe that she can display at home or at work on her desk. Personalize it with her name or a travel quote in fancy gold handwriting.

Neck Pillow – If she travels often or takes long flights, chances are she could use a decent neck pillow. Not one of those cheap ones you find at the airport, but an ergonomical one that will actually hold her head up so she can sleep comfortably on that 12 hour flight. Or get her a cute patterned one!

Travel Fund Box – She’s probably got a savings account, but does she have a piggy bank? Get her a cute travel themed box or jar where she can store any loose change or dollar bills she has to save up for her next trip! Find a cute personalized one on Etsy.

Anti-theft Backpack – Totally a must when traveling! A huge fear for a lot of people is being pickpocketed or robbed when abroad. Being able to walk around the town without the worry of someone snatching her valuables out of her bag will set her mind at ease. Check them out on Amazon.

Luggage – If she travels a lot, her luggage is probably pretty banged up. Get her a new carry-on or go all out and get her a full luggage set! Make sure it rolls and why not spice it up by getting a cute patterned one so it stands out and she can easily spot it on the baggage carousel.

Map Canvas – I love a good travel themed room, it reminds me of what I love to do and keeps me inspired. Get her a gorgeous canvas of a map that she can proudly hang on the main wall of her living room.

Suitcase Shelves – Speaking of travel themed rooms, these suitcase shelves are the perfect touch to help her decorate her living room. *Get more ideas on how to create a travel themed room in my full post.

$100 +

GoPro – Travel girls love to document their trips so they can remember them later. And a lot of them love to blog or Instagram about those trips! Having a good camera is key to capturing the perfect photo. A GoPro is small and and easy to carry around and can be waterproof if you get a case for it – perfect for those underwater shots. Or if you don’t have big bucks, but still want to get her a GoPro, go for a knock-off. They are wayyy cheaper and still get great shots! Check them out HERE.

Rosetta Stone – One of my favorite things about traveling is learning a new language. Being able to speak to the locals in their native language is awesome and your travel girl will probably love it too! Get her an online subscription to Rosetta Stone so she can learn a new language and use it on her next trip.

Fitbit – When your girl travels, she’s probably indulging in the amazing foods the country has to offer. This can be tough on the waistline, so she’ll want to find a way to keep in shape while she travels. Get her a Fitbit so she can keep track of her steps and get inspired to get active. It’s also a great alarm clock that won’t wake up her hostel mates because it just vibrates on her wrist!

Pet Camera – If she has a pet, it’s hard to be away from them for too long. A pet camera will allow her to communicate with her fur baby while she’s away! Some have lasers to play with a cat, or dispense treats for a pup. She can check in on them anytime from her phone and even speak to them.

I’ve been wanting one of those wrld map watches for ages. If I could find one that was waterproof and therefore travel proof, I’d get one. Somebody should make one!

These are all really fun ideas! My aunt just got Fitbits for everyone in our family and we compete on who takes the most steps every week (my husband and I always win since we don’t have normal jobs and just travel all the time, lol). It’s a fun way to stay connected to everyone when we’re half way around the world. Plus it helps everyone stay in shape! I also have a travel scale which I LOVE and you should definitely add to your list! It’s lightweight and comes in handy when I want to eat all the food in every country we visit!

I totally want one of those scratch-off maps now! Great list. I also love it when my friends give me a book written by an author from wherever I’m traveling to, so I can learn a little bit about the place and culture from a local perspective.

All great ideas. I could use a few of these myself. Maybe I need to start leaving this page open on the computer around the house for the other half to pick up on. And definitely agree on an ergonomic travel pillow. I went years without one and ended up getting one just last year and it made such a difference

These are great tips! There isn’t a single thing on this list that I wouldn’t take! That world map necklace was something my husband bought me for our first Valentines Day together and it’s one of my favorite pieces of jewelry to this day, so great idea!
